The spring weather Alexandria has been a little indecisive lately—hovering below 70 degrees one day and teasing warmth the next. With my husband and I spending as much time as we can exploring our new town, I’ve found myself reaching for the same outfit (or a close variation) more often than I’d like to admit. It’s become my go-to spring uniform—and honestly, I’m not mad about it.
Here’s what’s on repeat in my closet:
- The Perfect Crew Neck Sweater: J.Crew crew necks have my heart. They’re classic, cozy, and layer like a dream—hands down my favorite sweaters.
- Gold Hoops: A tried-and-true staple in my jewelry box. I swear gold hoops can pull together any outfit. Instant polish.
- Old Navy Jeans: Credit where it’s due: Old Navy has glowed up. Their jeans are affordable, comfy, and surprisingly long-lasting. I keep going back for more.
- Casual Fashion Sneakers: I waited way too long to hop on the casual sneaker trend. These Adidas VL Courts go with everything—from errands to the office to dinner with a skirt. A true all-day, go-anywhere shoe.
- Crossbody Purse: As much as I love a staple bag, when we’re out and about in the city, a crossbody is a must. This one? A little souvenir I picked up in Greece for my 40th birthday. Functional and sentimental.
- Sunglasses: You’ll rarely catch me outside without a pair on. Blame my college job at Sunglass Hut for that high-end addiction…
What are your spring must-haves this season?
